Recent Education Projects

ALAMOSA SCHOOL DISTRICT
Alamosa High School – Grandstand Modifications
Grandstands modifications, dry wall and framing, new concrete, and new aluminum handrails.

Ortega Middle School – Parking Lot Replacement & Security Upgrades
Installed new sidewalks, valley pans and concrete paving; installed retaining wall and handicap ramp with handrails.  Security upgrades involved creating controlled access, door replacements, new signage, enhanced site lighting, new access gate, and new digital message board/monument sign.

ADAMS STATE UNIVERSITY
Music Building HVAC Upgrade
Retrofitted a new VRF cooling system and updating the existing heating system.

East Campus Renovation
Renovated approximately 56,000 square feet on three different buildings for expanding and upcoming programs.

Greenhouse
Construction of an aluminum framework greenhouse on campus.

Plachy Hall Pool Renovation
Demolished existing tile and pool bottom.  Installed new water inlets, pool controller, chemical injection systems, tile, plaster finishes, starting blocks, window, ADA chair and water fountain were installed.  Re-routed existing drain to city sewer and reconfigured gutter drain.

Richardson Hall Remodel
Structural steel, concrete and counter shutters.

High Altitude Event Center 
Athletic training air inflated structure encompassing nearly 60,000 square feet and includes a 200-meter competition track, turf infield with throwing quadrants and LED lighting with photocell to reduce energy usage.  See our video below!

Rex Field Improvements
Replacement of asphalt and track, installing multi-use wood courts, turf surround, and a retractable batting cage.

CENTER HEAD START
Phase I
Demo and removal of asbestos material and removing the existing fire damaged structure, wood, steel beams and concrete.

Phase II
Complete interior remodel, supply and assemble a Behlen pre-engineered metal building, replace concrete, patch, and fill concrete floor.

CREEDE SCHOOL DISTRICT
Bus Garage
Supplied and assembled a Behlen pre-engineered metal building with Raynor garage doors; finish matches existing school.

Creede PK-12 School
Installed Raynor garage doors, sidewalks and concrete paving for new K-12 school.

FLORENCE HIGH SCHOOL – VOCATIONAL & AGRICULTURAL BUILDING
Demolition, earthwork, cast in place concrete, site concrete, supplied and erected a Behlen pre-engineered metal building, and garage doors for energy efficient agricultural classroom.

SANGRE DE CRISTO SCHOOL
Supplied and erected a Behlen pre-engineered metal building for equipment storage to match existing building.

TRINIDAD STATE JUNIOR COLLEGE – ALAMOSA CAMPUS ADDITION
Construction of a new 5,745 square foot two-story wing attached to the existing building.

SOUTH CONEJOS PK-12 SCHOOL
Structural concrete, site concrete and Raynor garage doors for new PK-12 school.

MOFFAT PK-12 SCHOOL
Erection of architecturally exposed structural steel, installing guard rail on stairs and custom wood glue laminate on exposed rafters.

SIERRA GRANDE SCHOOL DISTRICT – SECURITY UPGRADE
Security upgrade included new exterior doors, hardware, film and other safety measures.

LONGFELLOW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Construction of new two level elementary school, included erection of structural steel, joists and installation of guard rails for stairs.  

SANFORD PK-12 SCHOOL
Building and site concrete, supplied and erected all structural and miscellaneous steel, completed gymnasium roof replacements and additions as well as school demolition.
