ALAMOSA SCHOOL DISTRICT
Alamosa High School – Grandstand Modifications
Grandstands were modified by cutting benches and floor for new stairs, dry wall and framing, adding concrete, installing new aluminum handrails, moving electrical conduit, painting and adding a new door to the press box for access from the gym.
Ortega Middle School – Parking Lot Replacement & Security Upgrades
Removed old and installed new sidewalks, valley pans and concrete paving to improve drainage for the teacher parking lot. Installed retaining wall and handicap ramp with handrails along the baseball field and auxiliary gym. Security upgrades involved limited reconfiguration of main office to create controlled access, door replacements, new signage, enhanced site lighting, adding a new access gate and a new digital message board/monument sign.
ADAMS STATE UNIVERSITY
Music Building HVAC Upgrade
Project consisted of retrofitting a new VRF cooling system and updating the existing heating system. Challenges included very limited space for the new equipment, fire rating the system and meeting a tight work schedule.
East Campus Renovation
Renovated approximately 56,000 square feet on three different buildings for expanding and upcoming programs with only one building being unoccupied. Project included ADA accommodations, a biomechanics lab and Plachy Hall Dry Lockers. Was value engineered to find successful cost reductions.
General contractor for the construction of a 20′ x 29′ aluminum framework greenhouse on campus. Worked closely with staff and was able to provide the greenhouse desired within University’s budget.
Plachy Hall Pool Renovation
Renovation consisted of demolishing existing tile and pool bottom. New water inlets, pool controller, chemical injection systems, tile, plaster finishes, starting blocks, window, ADA chair and water fountain were installed. Re-routed existing drain to city sewer and reconfigured gutter drain.
Richardson Hall Remodel
Structural steel, site concrete and counter shutters. Major structural upgrades in existing three-story building, complex beam locations and creative hoisting operations.
High Altitude Event Center
First athletic training air inflated structure in the San Luis Valley. The structure encompasses nearly 60,000 square feet and includes a 200-meter competition track, turf infield with throwing quadrants and LED lighting with photocell to reduce energy usage. See our video below!
Rex Field Improvements
Rex Field Improvements include the replacement of asphalt and track, installing multi-use wood courts, turf surround and a retractable batting cage.
CENTER HEAD START
Demo and removal of asbestos material and removing the existing fire damaged structure, wood, steel beams and concrete.
Complete interior remodel. Supply and assemble a Behlen pre-engineered metal building, eaves, demo, remove and replace concrete, patch and fill concrete floor.
CREEDE SCHOOL DISTRICT
Supply and assemble a Behlen pre-engineered metal building with Raynor overhead doors; finish matches existing school.
Creede PK-12 School
Install Raynor overhead doors, sidewalks and concrete paving for new K-12 school.
FLORENCE HIGH SCHOOL – VOCATIONAL & AGRICULTURAL BUILDING
Turn key design build project consisted of demolition, earthwork, cast in place concrete, site concrete, supply and erect a 50′ x 100′ x 16′ Behlen pre-engineered metal building, and overhead doors for energy efficient agricultural classroom.
SANGRE DE CRISTO SCHOOL
Supply and erect a Behlen pre-engineered metal building for equipment storag to match existing building. Built while school was in session.
TRINIDAD STATE JUNIOR COLLEGE – ALAMOSA CAMPUS ADDITION
Construction of a new 5,745 square foot two-story wing attached to the existing building. New addition consists of restrooms, two classrooms on the ground level and two laboratories on the upper floor.
SOUTH CONEJOS PK-12 SCHOOL
Structural concrete, site concrete and Raynor overhead doors for new PK-12 school.
MOFFAT PK-12 SCHOOL
Completed work that includes erection of architecturally exposed structural steel, installed guard rail on stairs and custom wood glue laminate on exposed rafters.
SIERRA GRANDE SCHOOL DISTRICT – SECURITY UPGRADE
Security upgrade included new exterior doors, hardware, film and other safety measures.
LONGFELLOW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Construction of new state of the art, two level elementary school, included erection of structural steel, joists and installation of guard rails for stairs.
SANFORD PK-12 SCHOOL
Building and site concrete, supplied and erected all structural and miscellaneous steel, completed gymnasium roof replacements and additions as well as school demolition. Multiple phase project being built right next to an existing, in use, school building.
